DFACS SERVICES

Loving Helping Hands provides the following Services for the Department of Family & Children Services. Comprehensive Child & family Assessment "CCFA" for children entering into foster care. Relative Assessments, Home Evaluation for a family member or non-family member that has been identified as a possible placement resource. Transporting Services may include, but are not limited to, transporting a child(ren) to/from school, doctor appointments or court, as well as the following services listed below:

 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & THERAPY

Loving Helping Hands is where you Behavior Health & Therapy services meet to serve the entire community. Now you can get therapy & behavioral modification for children or adults at the same location. Loving Helping Hands understands that daily life can be affected by mental health in many ways when the home, school & community settings are disrupted. Let the empathetic & experienced Parent Aid Provider, Anger Management Provider or Therapist at Loving Helping Hands be that catalyst of change.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL 

Loving Having Hands provides both drug & alcohol classes & assessments. We at Loving Helping Hands believe long-term recovery can best be achieved when the client's family and members of the client's support system are involved in the recovery process. From the initial contact by the client to the discharged planning, family & others in the client's support system are viewed as vital supporters of the client's recovery process. Individual family therapy sessions are scheduled with the client & their family members or support system support members to provide therapeutic family services. The family therapy sessions are led by the client's primary therapist. 

ANGER MANAGEMENT 

Loving Helping Hands provides Anger Management Assessment as well as individual & group counseling. Group counseling sessions are offered weekly & individual counseling session is set up on an individual basis. Anger Management treatment is typically mandated by the court for individuals convicted of a violent crime such as assault, battery, domestic violence, etc, it is also recommended for anyone awaiting trial for such an offense is normally recommended by their probation officer.
